Acrylic Painting Workshop Sunfowers

Spend a few hours painting a gorgeous vase of bright, colourful sunflowers in acrylics, with plenty of guidance along the way.

I’ll take you through the painting step by step, breaking the process down into simple, manageable stages. We’ll look at colour mixing, building up layers, creating shape and form, and adding those final details that bring your painting together.

Rather than simply copying a finished painting, you’ll learn techniques and ways of looking that you can take away and use in your own artwork. The same approach can be applied to lots of different subjects, helping you feel more confident when starting your next painting.

With over 12 years of teaching experience, I make the process easy to understand without taking away your individual style. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced artists who would like to develop their painting skills.

All art materials are provided, so you just need to turn up ready to paint.

Tea and a selection of cakes will also be provided — giving us time to paint, learn and enjoy a relaxed creative afternoon together.

You’ll leave with your own finished sunflower painting and, more importantly, techniques you can use again and again.
