It was so lovely to see everyone relaxed and really in 'the zone' at Great Ayton Art Club tonight.
The outcomes were absolutley gorgeous, and it was great to see everyone beginning to really grasp the process, allowing some areas to blend softly, while sharpening others, and making some parts darker so that mid tones could really stand out.
It is all about working with the material, not against it, and tonight felt like a real step forward in that.
