First Adult and Child Workshop 11.8.26

Yesterday we held our very first Adult and Child Art Workshop, and it was wonderful to see everyone creating together. The room was filled with concentration, enthusiasm, and plenty of smiles as parents, grandparents, and children worked side by side.

The session focused on creating a fun graduated background using a limited colour palette. By keeping the colours simple, everyone could concentrate on blending, building smooth transitions, and creating a strong foundation for the artwork. Sometimes limiting your choices actually gives you more freedom to play and experiment with the techniques.

It was lovely to watch both adults and children encouraging one another, sharing ideas, and becoming more confident as the paintings developed. Every finished piece was beautiful, but more importantly, everyone enjoyed the creative process and left with something they were proud of.

I couldn't have asked for a better first session, and I'm already looking forward to the next Adult and Child Workshop.
