Our next Great Ayton Art Club session on the 29th of April will be exploring pencil and coloured pencil drawing.
We will be focusing on how to really ‘see’ in order to draw, understanding that drawing is simply about placing marks on paper in a way that convinces the viewer. I will show you how to take a reference image and transpose it onto your page, breaking the process down into manageable steps.
I will demonstrate a few simple ways to approach this using coloured pencils, and guide you through a process that makes drawing feel much less daunting.
As always, the session will be relaxed, supportive, and suitable for all levels.
